Strategi Analisis Konten dalam Evaluasi Program Hard News Inhouse Sindonews TV
Abstract
This study aims to explain the content analysis strategy in evaluating Sindonews TV's in-house hard news programs. The method used is descriptive qualitative through in-depth interviews, observation, and active participation. The results of the study show that evaluating program performance through indicators such as Minute by Minute (MBM), Average Time Viewing, Television Rating, share, reach, and involvement helps identify the categories that are most popular with viewers, especially those that feature current and relevant issues. Audience segmentation based on region and viewer migration supports content adjustment according to demographic and geographic characteristics. In addition, comparative analysis with competitors can identify topic trends and determine potential content that can attract viewers' attention. These findings indicate that the application of content analysis strategies helps the editorial team adjust the news agenda in accordance with Agenda Setting Theory, thereby improving the quality of Sindonews TV's in-house hard news programs. This study theoretically contributes by expanding the application of Agenda Setting Theory within a data-driven newsroom context, while practically providing a structured evaluation model that can serve as a reference for news television stations in designing content analysis strategies that are systematic and responsive to audience behavior.
